What is AmeriHealth Caritas VIP Care?

AmeriHealth Caritas VIP Care is a type of Medicare Advantage plan known as a highly integrated dual-eligible special needs plan (HIDE-SNP), meaning we only enroll individuals who are entitled to both Medicare and medical assistance from a state plan under Medicaid. Working together with the MI Coordinated Health (MICH) Program, our plan will cover most Medicare and Medicaid services, including long-term services and supports (LTSS), seamlessly providing access to high-quality care through coordination of services traditionally covered separately by Medicare and Medicaid
